Quick update..

So I got back to London on Tuesday to find that I've got no internet.

Two of my flatmates moved out at the beginning of Easter, one of whom is in charge of the internet, and said she'd keep it on for me, me paying for it solo, which was fine.
However, her Dad cut it off over the holidays so that if anyone else moved it, they couldn't nab the router whilst everyone was away.

Fair enough, but now I've got no internet till god knows when. Ho hum!

Anyway, back to work =)

have been getting annoyed by this, and am more intruiged now I know that the club was actually refurbished and changed not too long ago.

It's still a pile of shite, they should've left it grimy.

So I finished making myself some new hair; think I did a pretty good job considering it's the first time I've made synthetic dreads =)

Have had an interesting day, sorted out a lot mentally and verbally to the boyfriend about my difficulties in emotionally committing myself for fear of getting hurt. Have had a lot to think about. In a way, after talking about it, I feel like I can be closer to him and maybe start to take a risk.
It's stupid because he's the most kind and caring individual I've met really, and he treats me like a princess, or even better really.

Life's always a bit confusing, but everything is good.

Starting back at uni the monday after this one...ick

Well tvguide.co.uk, you are lying to me... I know for a fact that the film I'm watching is The Matrix, and not Nightwatch with Steve Scott...

I find this error a little mondo bizarro due to the nature of the film... having an overwhelming sense of déja vu, har har.

Apologies to all who were trying to contact me during the weekend, I was out of London and had made the rather silly mistake of leaving my phone charger at home; bit crap of me really, but i stayed away longer than I thought I would be.

Watched Edward Scissorhands again today and cried buckets; Trinity telling Neo that she loves him pales in comparison to anything in that film =P

Am sadly not very well, feeling very, very poorly =( Which is quite upsetting. However, have been given lots of strepsils, vitamins and lemsip (etc) and rest tonight will hopefully aid recovery. Received a frustrating message that has upset my mood somewhat, not helping cold really.

I find it immensely ironic that the weekend I don't actually go out clubbing I end up feeling ill on the Sunday...
Anyway, yes, finishing silly ramblings. Going to eat a nice yoghurt now to soothe my throat.

I went all the way to chuffing HMV on Oxford Street to replace my buggered copy of Velvet Goldmine, got home, shoved in it...and suprise sur-fucking-prise, it is ANOTHER buggered copy.

Am I doomed to have every copy of that bloody film freeze and die when Maxwell Demon and Curt Wild kiss?

...I've certainly lost it now.

Why my jar of liquid latex felt it was necessary to chuck itself from my shelf to my formerly rather clean carpet I have no idea. FFS.

Ho hum!

The good news is, however, that I'm right on track for meeting referral deadlines...in fact, I'm ahead of the deadlines. Done an A2 scale painting and an A1 size mixed media piece this evening, just going to do a bit of writing in my reflective log bollocky thingy then maybe head on out if I feel I've done enough work; I've already alerted gypseymission and elegy_of_flames that I might be heading out, so, fingers crossed =)

Stuff left to do are the two construction mini project bollocks *which I've scheduled for Sunday evening/Monday* then writing everything up, maybe making a couple more drawings, getting stuff down in my reflective log. Kids, I think she's gonna make it....

Hoorah for not getting kicked out of art school...and similarly hoorah for the fact that I'm starting to enjoy myself again, w00p w00p.

I would say if I go out tonight that I'm going to take it easy, but, well, I'd probably be lying. I think as long as I don't go TOO mad and I'm home by midday in time to cuddle up in bed, I'll be doing fine and dandy, maybe even manage to do some work in the evening.

So yes, on to more work, then I'll have the lovely 'Shit I've got nothing to wear/I look fat in everything I have got to wear' episode, h00rah.

Did I mention I also tidied my room?

...it's rather bizarre for me to be being this productive.

And now I think about it...it's taken me such little time to do this work...why was it that I didn't do it before again? *yes, yes, well done, i've finally got it*

I've actually been working really hard since Saturday, not slacking at college and working right up until the late evening afterwards. I feel really proud of myself. Those who know me well also know how rubbish I am at motivating myself, so I'm feeling pretty damn good about things.

Spent today in a mad, paint-covered blur; actually going to get this project in on the deadline. Rushed off to the British Museum to do a few doodles for various PDA assessment thingies, which was good fun (Is it possible to feel lust towards a sculpture?...*coughs* maybe it's just been awhile eh?) then scrambled home to make nice, big, healthy (and TASTY) dinner ^-^.

In all honesty, yes, I am currently not working my bum off...but simply sitting on my bum. Going to have a cigarette then commence with bollocksy writing of rubbish and such. Tomorrow will feature me rushing in to attack some metal to a piece of wood (yay), then running off to the Hunterian to complete ANOTHER PDA thingy, then actually getting some serious planning done for self-initiated project starting on Monday.

Busy busy busy, and the weekend doesn't look like it's going to be full of me time tbh.
Aaron, I still need to grab you for drinks (I'll remind myself, and make sure you remind me! *see, now you're mentioned in one of my posts...although I am a rambling idiot, so this is somewhat less of an honour =P*).

Also, it isn't fair that some people are getting snow *coughs* (that means you... ) and we're not. I feel an odd compulsion to get aggressive with cold balls of the white stuff (only to complain that my clothes are wet, that I'm cold and in dire need of a shower...such good company for these things).

So yes, a cigarette and then down to some work.
Despite there being a couple of people I'd like to attack with sharp, pointy things at this moment in time.

Well, today has certainly been a bizarre and extremely good one.

One thing I find incredibly overwhelming about living in London and going out is how elegant and confident I feel sometimes. Moving on as a person and experiencing life, it's startling when you notice a change in yourself. One thing I hope is that I won't become conceited, superficial and, well, a bitch.
I hope I always remain grateful for things.
When I'm out in some fun bar, having a glass of wine with my good friend, it's so grounding to come back to my wee student room. It's nice to be grounded actually, to remember that I shouldn't expect things from people and that I've got to work to get anywhere in life.
I don't want to become a bitch with nothing to back it up! And I'm fairly confident that that will not happen, as long as I stay true to myself and don't become a socially obsessed moron who plays mind and word games (a certain person will know to whom I am referencing).

The luxurious life of a goth *fackin gaffick!* is so easily accessible in London..you know, fine wine, fine company, etc. I hope in 10 years time I'm a wiser, more experienced me...but that I'm still a good person, (we wont go into the moral complications of the word 'good). I've known so many people to get a taste for things then fuck people over. That WILL not be me.

Surely this isn't brought on by me glaring at that person handing out a newspaper?
